I had heard about the re-furbished Star and the good food from friends but as yet had not had a chance to visit. We booked to celebrate a birthday and although booked on the day we were lucky to get a table for 6.

I was very impressed with the standard of food and all of us enjoyed our meal. The pork belly was delicous as was the risotto and the burger. The service was friendly and satisfactory. Although the space is limited the atmosphere was pleasant and the surrounding clean and comfortable.

Well Done to all.
